Interview and a bit of shopping... I couldn't help it

That's the problem of living in Madrid and near the c/ Goya… that you simply CAN’T avoid going in all those nice shops: Mango, Zara, H&M, Trucco… even when you have no money at all.  That’s what I did today, anyway, after my job interview: enter in every single shop on my way up to catch the bus. As a result, my bank account is nearly dead, but I have a couple of new accessories for this fall-winter season.  And what a season!! My goodness, I could buy half the items in the shops these days, and for once in a loooong time, my wardrobe is more useful than ever, and seems like I could be “in” without much trouble… Yipeeee!!!  What did I buy? A lovely 19th century look-alike necklace, a barrette (un pasador de pelo, para aquellos que no lo sepan), and a hair band, cause now that my hair is quite long again, I have no intention in cutting it. More things… because the intention of my trip outside today was a job interview, I suppose it is fair that I talk about it too, and not onl

Back to routine...

Ok, ok… seems like thing are starting to work… FINALLY. I’m back to my studying routine, which consists in me getting up early (8 AM), having breakfast, and sitting on the chair in my room trying not to get too bored with my taxes law notes (which is EXTREMLY difficult) and not to look on the other amount of other subjects notes I have on the floor. I make a couple of stops to drink water and occasionally watch something on TV, enough to disconnect my brain for a while… I can tell you, studying these days is crap. I’m also sending CVs to some companies, trying to get a part time internship that will allow me to buy those little things a girl needs for living and at the same time, finishing my degree in marketing techniques. For now, just one company has answered and I have an interview on Monday. It’s not the job of my dreams (I would prefer something more like Public relations and stuff) but it’s all I got for now, and it’s not bad at all. Near my house, near the university (between t

Damn! I’m s o uttterly tired this morning … took me 10 minutes to get up (when normally just a jump). Then again, that’s what happens when you go to bed well after 2 during weekdays. I seriously need to catch up with my sleep hours and get my much needed beauty sleep. With work + decision making class (2 hours) I can already tell is going to be hell of a long day… I told my Canadian friend Jan the oth er day: it’s raining in world-wide-known-to-be-sunny-always Spain . I t’s been raining in Madrid for, what? 2 weeks now? And hard, I dare say . So much, I think I might be falling for the rain (smirk)… Which reminds me of Jamie, and yesterday’s concert, the reason I am so utterly tired today… it was fantastic, really. I just wished it stopped for a while… something like an afternoon or so, so I could be able to wear my new high-heels . They have been desperately shouting at me from their Zara bag (from where I haven’t yet got the courage to take out) for a week now, craving to b

Vacaciones...

Adios, adieu, goodbye, farvel...

Gracias a William, you're a sweety!!! Thanks for being the way you are and for considering I'm the best Spanish girl you've ever known!!! my pleasure...

Party all night long...

Exams, brief vacation...
