Today I'm wearing Safari-Romantic

Imagen
I had to wear it... ever since I bought it (like 2 months ago), this dress has been living in my closet willing to go out some day. Problem was, the weather was kind of not helping. But after a wonderful and sunny and HOT weekend, I finally had the chance to take it out for a ride... and boy, didn't I love it! I don't know if it was the hair (as you finally get to see, I've changed my look), or the outfit or what, but everybody mentioned I looked very pretty today. OK, fine. It was the hair (a bit of a discussion was raised on whether I looked like Cleopatra or Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction)... I don't know why people had to make such a fuss about it, not that I care, btw, since I loved the attention... but anyways... people where just SO impressed. Which made me wonder... Do I really look SO different? So, what do you think? In any case, here's the deal... I paired up the dress (which has a cute romantic detail on the hem of its lining

S EEING Glee going Gaga. SO WORTH IT. So much fun!! It really is one of the best tv series! "Two Lovers"... what a terrible movie! I mean, Joaquin Phoenix is such an amazing actor (so sexy too, even when playing the mad guy), but the movie was pretty boring, and bizarre, and... obscure. I don't know. Myself in my new look: shorter chocolate brown hair. I have stil a bit of trouble looking myself in the mirror, not because I don't like it (cause I really do) but because I need to get used to it. A. says I looked sophisticated... whatever! LISTENING John, from K UK, speaking English... Brit accents give me a high everytime I have the chance to listen to them. John, asking me where I've learned my English, since at some points during conversation, when I forgot I was Spanish, it was "real English". It was weird, but charming at the same time. Poker Face sung by the Glee Cast (well, Lea Michelle, actually). SO.IMPRESSIVE. TOUCHING Indi on

Today I'm wearing a TMX Total look

Imagen
It's friday, and I can't believe it took me so long to get up, considering I'm normaly a morning person and that I need 5 minutes (and a huge coffee) to be up and about. Worst thing is I have no possible excuse, I went to bed pretty early yesterday... I felt so drown by the international meeting we've had all day (9sm to 18pm non-stop). So I decided I had to spice up my day just a wee bit, and threw on part of my 3-piece TMX total look that I received from the Glamour Magazine a month ago or so... and the result was not bad at all! I think the mix of the black nearly-leggins pants and ballerines (very Audrey) with a bit of colour coming from the red on the oversized t-shirt worked pretty well. I also found the jacket pretty functional, since it's been a bit chilly in Madrid since yesterday. I think the headbands, which I added later on the day (when the stress of finishing the goodbye present of a friend at work was too much) did really spice

Today I'm wearing... Look marinero salpicado de turquesas

Imagen
Seeing For the second time this Season, bullfighting at Las Ventas. Horses, to be precise. I really don’t get tired of these events, even when you have a scandalous woman behind you shouting scared every time the bull gets near the horse… it’s totally worth it. Even when said woman (which you don’t know, in case you wondered) asks you for your amazing camera “for a while”… because she’s worth it. Gossip Girl season Finale… OMG. OMFG. I’m still in shock. And I won’t say more because I know there are readers out there who haven’t seen the episode yet. But… OMG. Arturo Pérez Reverte answering my tweet. This little details can make your day in some sense. Hearing All the nice comments of the pictures I hung on facebook about the bullfighting, both online (which would qualify as “seeing”) and from people at work. I really appreciate them, thanks. Michael Buble's "Haven't met you yet". This guy can really lift my spirits. Smelling The first peach of the season… I c

Today I'm wearing... Sombrero a los toros

Imagen

Today's outfit: I'm feeling kinda Audrey...

Welcoming (soon enough!) spring, I felt like totaly succumbing to a look that... I'm sorry to say, is already too extended to be true: Navy Stripes.  In any case, I bought this top ages ago, and I was dying to use it... only thing was that the weather had other plans for me and my top. I love its flirty look on the sleeves, and the fact that's so comfortable yet classy. Topped with a braid... spring trends, here I go! I decided to paired it with a pair of skiny capri pants (though they don't look very capri on me, thank god) and some ballerina flats... a wee bit like Audrey Top: H&M Pants: TMX Today was a good day overall. Padel class was SO MUCH FUN!!! Susan and I got to beat the teacher and our other colleague 3-0. That's was, until the teacher got pissed at himself (he had been missing blows all match) and decided to go all "I'm a proffesional padel player on us"... we where having so much fun at his irritation, that we didn'

Seeing As mentioned in a previous post, the horses bull fighting. Love them. I really find it somehow poetic to watch. To see what I'm talking about, see previous posts. Indi fighting the vacuum cleaner... like mad. I thinks he believes it's some kind of moster or something... really don't know. The best part is that he gets all scared once you turn it off, which is absolutely absurd considering he's been trying to bight it at least 10 times when it was on. Here, have a look: Hearing One of my friends talking nonsens about work and taxes, when he hasn't got the former, so he doesn't need to pay the latter. The conversation changed to some other topics, but I couldn't help but feel totally disconnected. I felt SO OLD for like... 15 minutes. It was pretty terrible. That I'm doing an awesome job as the Mediterranean Area Catman Associate... (I invented the title myself, since I'm a Category Manager Associate, and I'm the representative of

Rejones en Las Ventas

Imagen

Seeing Myself on the mirror after a 2 hour make up class via M.A.C. Techniques... Absolutely awesome! natural, yet elegant and gorgeous. I will be posting my notes as soon as I can for you to enjoy. Poppies scattered around a spring landscape, filling everything with that sense of spontaniety, of happiness and colour. Hearing Christina Aguilera's New single "Not Myself Tonight" which, besides beeing absolutey fantastic and energetic, has a kind of... dunno how to say it... "original" music video. For your eyes only: You have to love the aesthetic, though. Smelling Vanilla scent... I absolutely HATE it... it's so, so... sickly sweet it drives me mad. Specially when you're in a close environment like the underground, or the bus, with no breakfast and just dying for some coffee. If you care for me... discard it. NOW. Freshe mowed grass on the hill behing our building, on the way to the bus. Summer 100% Touching/Feeling My new M.A.C. cream bl

I'm feeling a wee bit better after reading this:

Exclusive: I've seen the 'Gossip Girl' finale and it's [major spoiler alert]! | Ausiello | EW.com by Michael Ausiello I guess it’s “really, really, good” isn’t much of a spoiler. But it’s accurate. The May 17 Gossip Girl sendoff features big payoffs, several OMG! twists, and a Georgina comeback. Enough, if you ask me, to more than make up for an uneven (but not nearly as bad as some people have said!) season. Most importantly, Chuck/Blair fans freaking out over a certain spoiler-laced European trailer that shows the couple nearing third base should simmer down and judge things after watching the entire hour — a sentiment echoed by exec producer Stephanie Savage. “I really encourage people who have seen that promo to tune in and watch the whole episode in context,” she pleads. “Those were a few moments that were taken out of context to create the most salacious experience possible. And some people who are having a negative reaction to what they’re seeing I think will h

Having a quick go on  Gossip Girl - TV Fanatic , I came across this: It should somehow made me trust, made me happy... get me going til the end of the season.... And then, a couple of posts later on the page, I see THIS: Seriously, JENNY????? COME ON!!!! What the hell where you thinking about? I'm totally losing my faith now... And you know what the worst thing is? I had been expecting (dreading, but expecting) for it to happen.

Tarde de toros en las Ventas

Yesterday's wasn't a very good afternoon of bullfighting. Fortunately, the man sitting beside us told us lots of curiosities and stories about this and that concerning the bullfighters, the bulls, the techniques and traditions, and it came up to be not a huge loss of an afternoon at the end. I like it as a place to take pictures too. It was a pity that we got there just in time, cause we didn't have time to wander oround the place and take a look at the patio, or the poeple gathering around the place. The bad weather didn't help either. Nevertheless, I managed to take some good pictures... The colours of the bullfighter's uniform, the capote, the sand... they all inspire and artsy feeling in me. I sincerely don't understand why someone would love to finish with these events... but thas an entirely different debate I'm not going to discuss right now... I deeply enjoyed it. [photos_private]

I know I haven’t been posting much… and I apologize. I think it’s specially infuriating because even though I didn’t really feel like it, I ended up participating in the marieclaire.com fashion blogs competition… which apparently, has ment a lot of new visits. Considering I haven’t been posting much, I guess that means most of those first timers are never going to be back *sad face*… the thing is, it’s been a stressing like hell week. Long and full of brownies, as we call them. Got out late most of the days… with tons of work still to do, so I wasn’t really in the mood to be posting anything when arriving home. Anyways, it’s … over? But the show must go on so… here we go again Seeing The clock strike 20:30, in my computer screen, at work… it felt like the day was never going to end. So long, so stressing. The presentation looked like it was never going to be finished, and the phone had been ringing for the whole day non stop… it was a hard day, Thursday. Hearing The promotional it
