5 Senses Monday 168

SEEING
My friend Eva getting married, as you saw in yesterday’s post. Such a wonderful an intimate wedding, full of love and good vibes… lovely!
¡Preciosa!

TASTING
The wonderful menu they gave us at the wedding, we could have eaten of the appetizers only! And yet the main courses were so fabulous, I couldn’t just let the plate full.

TOUCHING/FEELING
Pretty disappointed after Reading the original novel from Zola on which the BBC’s The Paradise was based upon. I must confess I bought it expecting to learn something from the Denise&Morey relationship but… NOTHING! The novel resolves their “thing” on the last paragraph of the book, if you can count that as resolving anything.

SMELLING
The scent of vanilla, on a wonderful cookie, can be so delicious that you’d wish you could jump into a pool full of biscuits, so contagious and sweet and nice. On a 50something woman that sits next to you in the bus that has showered on cheap cologne scented as when you’ve just woken up and had no breakfast, on the other hand, quite disgusting.

LISTENING
Or rather not. Not only have we lost the great Alfredo Landa this weekend, but Constantino Romero, the dual voice of special character such as Mufasa or Darth Vader, has left us too. I wanted to do make him a small tribute.

And just because this is a short week, we need to celebrate with something a little happier. Something that will raise you from the chair and get you dancing.
