SEEING
I remember how dancing made me feel. It was only me and my effort, the pain on my feet, the itch in the muscles... Clac, clac, clac... the noise the teacher used to make with her stick on the floor. The discipline... the rehersals, the ballet shoes, the stances. Going in the car going over the choreography. And then the nerves on eadge before the show, and the satisfaction afterwards. I miss it.
Recuerdo como bailar me liberaba. Éramos yo y el esfuerzo, el dolor en los pies, el picor en las articulaciones. Clac, clac, clac... el palo de la profesora sobre el suelo. La disciplina... y los ensayos, las puntas, las posturas. Ir en el coche repasando la coreografía... los nervios antes de salir, y la satisfacción del deber hecho. Lo echo de menos.
TOUCHING/FEELING
The prickle in my eyes whenever they put a/c or heat at the office. The dust seems to become alive and gets everywhere: eyes, throat...
El picor de ojos y de garganta cada vez que encienden el aire acondicionado o la calefacción en la ofi. Es como si el polvo entonces cobrara vida, y fuera a posarse allá donde pueda molestar.
SMELLING
The cucumber of one of the creams I use for my feat, I have to admit, I was temted to put it on the feelinf part too, since the texture is pretty disgusting (that's pretty much the reason I stopped using it altogether). I don't know... it's too much.
El olor a pepino de una d elas cremas que uso para hidratar los pies. Si os soy absolutamente sincera, he estado tremendamente tentada de ponerlo en la parte del tacto también, porque tiene una textura muy densa que me pone algo nerviosa y es una de las principales razones por las que he dejado de usarla.
TASTING
Coffee, pink lemonade or a carrot cake are always tastier when with a nice friend.
