The tale of the lovely fashionista who turned as red as a Louboutin sole

I’ve come to love Marta’s stories on her blog so, since I had a funny story of my own, I’ve decided to share it with you. It’s called “The fashionista who turned as red as a Louboutin sole

Once upon a time, there was a lovely fashionista who was peacefully working on her place, no brownies ahead. She was excelling around when suddenly, an email from the communication responsible of her company for all Madrid users arrived:

Hi everybody,
On XXday at 9AM, National TV is coming to our offices. They will be interviewing some employees and taking some videos and pictures. Please clean your tables and make sure no confidential documents are left behind.
Thanks a lot.”

Since hence communication responsible was a friend of our lovely fashionista, and it wasn’t the first time the TV had gone to their offices (and recorded her for one of the videos), she promptly sent her a funny email to share a laugh. It went something like this: "OMG! The TV, again?! I can’t stand the pressure to look pretty on the screen again!” Something which had been completely normal and innocent if it wasn’t for the fact that, instead of replying to her friend only, she had hit the Reply all button.

But at the moment, the lovely fashionista didn’t know. Nor did she when she heard her colleagues on the nearby tables laughing… she was too busy concentrating on some excel and listening to The Dandy Warhols. But Oh boy! It was then that she received an email from another colleague that she learnt the truth: she had replied to the whole company!!!

Quickly, she tried to recover her email before it was too late, but already she had started receiving funny answers to her own. Given that she had quite a fame on being fashionable in the sea of "normal people" on a fast consumer goods company, you can imagine how they were like (pretty funny, actually). In a blink of an eye her inbox showed the results of her quest: Message recall successful (80%) vs. Message Recall Failure (20%)… for a split second, she thought she was save…

… until she received an answer to her email from no other than the CEO:

“You always look great!
:-) ”

If she had been embarrassed before with the other answers, it was nothing compared to what she felt now. Our lovely fashionista had her pulse racing, was sweating big, and had turned the colour of a lovely loubutin sole… nevertheless, she hit Reply :

Thanks (she wrote)
Right now I’m as red as our company’s logo.

(it was the least she could do, right?)
